Are there showers on site?

Agreed no showers. But one of the best campgrounds in the area. Every site is nice and secluded.

No showers. The road heading south on the other side of Independence pass has some rv parks with showers. Difficult even has 24 hour sale on firewood though!

No, there are no showers at Difficult Campground. When we stayed there, we showered at Arkansas River campground on the other side of Independence pass about 45 minutes away. That seemed to be the closest pay shower we could find. It's a wonderful campground though. And they do sell firewood.
