We did a spur of the moment trip to Aspen, and stayed here without much research. The property is older, which would be fine if it was as nice as their pricing is. We had two rooms, one with a private jacuzzi. The balcony that held the jacuzzi had obvious wood rot on the right side, and a very poor patch job trying to cover it up. There were a few other little things, like the water pressure and cracked light covers, but nothing major. The pool area was Ah-may-zing! The temperature was perfect, and we enjoyed that area of the hotel. Now to the staff ... the lady that took our reservation and checked us in was very welcoming. The other workers that we encountered during the day seemed pleasant enough, but the person over their night shift was very rude. Our daughter accidentally locked herself out of her room around 11pm. There is no staff on site, at night, which we were shocked by. The lady had to send someone from off site to let her in. The help that arrived wasn't too friendly either. Our daughter, who is 19, tried calling for help before calling us. The lady was very abrupt with her, and she was hung up on. Thos incident alone would be enough to make us look elsewhere on our next trip.

The price of the Ritz-Carlton with the amenities of a Hampton inn. Save your money, time, and patience and go elsewhere. (Also I checked what they pay their employees and it is criminal.) Absolute sham.

Everything about our stay was Great!!! Amazing views, friendly staff, every single one of them, from front desk to housekeeping. Our room was cozy and clean. Location is perfect, walk distance from everything you need! Hot tub is super clean and you have Mountain View while relaxing in the hot tub! They have great breakfast options. Shawna is Amazing!!! She is super friendly and you can tell she loves her job! She gave us great tips about how to enjoy our stay while in town. Another guy at front desk helped us with operating the hot tub. Our flight landed early and they let us check in earlier and paid for our taxi, how cool is that!!! Maribel at front desk is super friendly!!! I just have Amazing things to say about Hotel Aspen! We will definitely choose them again on our next stay! Give them a try, you won’t regret it! I have stayed at different hotels in Aspen, Hotel Aspen is by far the Best!!!

The location is amazing, the customer service is very warm and friendly. Cam and Ruben treat the hotel like they have ownership and ensure that the customer enjoys their stay. Try to book one of the rooms that includes a hot tub for a villa feel.
