Can a handicapped heavy scooter-chair get through the gate and will it work on the sandy trails? Thank you.

Not sure but you may want to try from the other end.. se7en wetlands with the trail head st loyce harpe park

The sandy trails are very similar to white beach sand. I would think the scooter would perform how it does on loose beach sand. The entrance is two sharp turns too so the se7en wetlands entrance may be the better option.
