It is a county park, so you must obey county ordinances unless otherwise posted. Which means unless there is a sign stating the dog can be without a leash, a leash is necessary. You would need to find a dog park if you want to go unleashed.
Leash required. This is a lovely park so well worth keeping your pet leashed.
I wouldn't advise it cause of the gators around. I do believe there's a sign saying dogs need to be on a leash. Probably because of the gators. I live down the road from the park and lived there since 1961. Hopefully you'll come out and check the park out.
I also didn't see signs, I wouldn't want a dog to get too far. There are gators at the pond area. A really big one.
Most public places dont but I didnt notice any signs that said other wise
