No dogs in the park or on the Beach, they do have signs! A beach/park for picnics is no place for dog's 😬

This question is for Bayfront Park. Yes, dogs on leash are allowed. It is a wonderful place to take your dog for socialization. All of these answers must be from people who think you are asking about the beach (no dogs allowed on Sarasota County beaches except Brohard dog park). Bayfront is a very popular place for dog walking.
I just went to this park in 2020, sheriff came and told me dogs are not allowed in the Park. This is ridiculous!!!
So basically yes no..great..helpful. if there are no rules/signs posted that is just stupid.

No dogs. People we were near had a golden retriever and cops came on a golf cart and told them no dogs allowed and made them leave.
