Is it worth Driving over 904.2 miles to go to long beach to buy a room (specifically Room B 340) because I don't want to go there just to get rejected and not get on the Queen Mary Room B 340

Check on website when QM has reopened. When hotel is reopened I'm sure you can request a specific room if available

Queen Mary is closed. It has been closed for awhile for renovation. I was there 2 weeks ago. Check out their website.
