We have so many packages stolen from our apt and I'm unable to file a police report.
I've tried. Still no answer. I ended up calling 911. My car was broken into 3 times in the past month while parked under my carport. Why won't they send an officer over. The dispatcher said it wasn't important. Hmmm...
If you go to the actual station you can get the report done in person. Then ask for the officer to make a copy of the face sheet. It's easier to do the report in person
Auto burglary reports are taken over the counter because patrols are needed on the streets to handle the armed robberies, the assaults, the rapes, the gang violence, you can keep filling in the blanks. My truck was broken into recently and I feel for you. Especially three times in one month. But I'm sure that you understand the point I'm making and I'm not even connected with LAPD.
Report the theft online at http://www.lapdonline.org/home/content_basic_view/60409
They haven't answered my letters reporting elder abuse of my mother for the past 2 years. They seem to be abetting those they know stole mom's money and health so I did this Expose: www.LISTINGS-BY-ELDER-ABUSE.com Very bad stuff is being swept-under the carpet in Los Angeles....wake-up folks.
Call 1-877-ASK-LAPD They handle all of Los Angeles including west l.a., will dispatch an officer and are quick to answer the phone.
You have to walk into the station, my friend down the street was able to get a sting operation because their packages were being taken. Dont give up, gotta be patient. No it's not an emergency but it's still theft. The thief has to be caught red handed, witness, or some type of evidence. I recommend getting a Po Box, or Amazon can deliver to your car or even inside your home. Until then dont leave low hanging fruit. Gotta be smarter than the criminal.
