There are many hands-in activities--sea creatures to touch, things to build, fans to spin, earthquake simulators. There is no shortage of activities. They are geared toward young children through adults, there is something for everyone. Plus lots of really cool science stuff to observe and learn about--old space capsules, jet fighters, and the shuttle of course. And there is a large marine biology section. So much to do and see!
There are many exhibits, mostly interactive. The space shuttle is mostly watch and learn but there are more than enough activities for the kids.
