I'm looking to hike a shady trail. Are there any trails that are at least an hour long that are completely in shade? What is the name of it and where is it located? Thank you very much for your response.

There is a network of trail s so you can create yiur own path. From the looks of it, Crystal Spring and Richards Road are lengthy and in shade.

As Zlatko stated Richards Road is a great option this time of year. You'll share the trail with hikers and equestrians. Another option, and a favorite of mine is the Chinquapin Trail which features towering Redwoods and plenty of shade. You can connect using the Dean and Crystal Springs Trail.
