There is meter parking on the street, but your best option is to take light rail.
Surface street lots and garages nearby. Plan 3 hours+ at museum. For Meters you have to be lucky!
There is street parking which is extremely expensive especially if you get a $53 ticket. However, the Light Rail station is very close (Archives Plaza) and probably the best option. And on a personal note, unless you're left of Mau and Trotsky, your money is probably better spent at any other museum or maybe you want to explain what transgender is to your five year old instead of letting them be a kid first.
Take a bus the parking is a joke
If its a weekday, get there before congressional state workers do
Metered sucks but the museum doesn't validate so it might be best...
There's metered parking on nearby streets
You cant park at the garage across the street from the museum if thats where your going. The is public parking on p st
They have several parking garages across the street and right around the corner. There is also metered parking.
