Great place great staff. Embarrassingly I checked the prices at guitar center, they're the exact same price on the same model but kline had 200% better service!!

A very good place to visit. Lots of good musical instruments and related books. Love it

We come here for music lessons. They have a large selection of instruments and music books too. Helpful, friendly staff.

Great place, and great staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and willing to answer all your questions. I purchased a missing guitar string, and the salesman installed it and tuned it while I waited. Also purchased a tuner for the guitar, and the salesman also demonstrated how to use it. Cline music has been around for a long time, and judging by the fantastic assistance I received, I can see why. Would recommend the store to anyone who's beginning with a musical instrument, or anyone who's advanced.

We sell violins, but we aren't buying used instruments right now unless it is something very special. Please call the store for more information. Jesse
Yes, I think, and yes
I think you'd be fine to try any instrument.
They do have a nice selection of acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles, etc. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Please give us a call sometime and we will be happy to discuss how we can help you. Thank you, Kline Music
We do! We carry a few different styles of capos.
We require all staff and customers to wear masks while in the store (if you can't wear a mask, we are happy to help you over the phone, by email, and curbside). We sanitize high touch surfaces and objects throughout the day, and have hand sanitizer available for staff and customers. We hope these precautions will help you feel comfortable coming to our store.
Harpsichords are awesome, but unfortunately we don't provide repairs on them. Depending on what the damage is we usually recommend contacting either a piano store or a piano repair person. Of course, all of our contacts are in Sacramento, Ca which is not much closer than the Bay Area. We did do a quick google search to see what was out there though and other than John Phillips Harpsichords in Berkeley it seems as though most places that claim to be able to do harpsichord repair are on the east coast.
The repairmen who work in the store are able to fix a vast majority of issues with various musical instruments. Unfortunately mixers are not something we service.
The band instrument repairman sets his own hours. You can drop off your instrument at any time during regular business hours and ask for him to call you with an estimate or call the store before you come in and we will let you know when he is expected to be in.
It has instruments for schools. musicians Use the phone and call. Thanks
I can no verify that for you. If I were you I'd just take my trumpet there that way you'd get an honest answer to your question. Plus also at the same time get an estimated amount of what they might pay you for it.
I think they do. They fixed my dad's drums and did an excellent job.
Yes. Very professional and knowledgeable staff.
I believe they do have them. If they don't I'm sure they can get one. As for the price you would have to call.
The one I purchased was around $30.00. Some go for $60.00.
They usually do as soon as you walk in to the left along the glass along with their orchestra and band instruments. I agree with above poster, best to call
Not sure about the price. But if the service guy is there. You may be able to wait while he tends to it.
I'm not for sure, but I think they do. If not I'm sure they know who does. I think they are a great place. They did a wonderful job fixing my dad's drum. And it got done quickly. Thanks Tony at Kline music
as far as i can remember for any instrument accessories an adult is not required.
My father's guitar had strings in bad shape and the shop at Kline's fixed it on the cheap. You pay for the strings but I don't think I broke $20 and that's with other work done on the guitar.
You would have to go there.
Yes they do
Not sure on the prices but they do have a good variety of ukuleles on hand and im sure they have kits.
Yes. They have a decent selection of affordable guitars suitable for beginners, including half and 3/4 scale models for younger/smaller kids. The Sunlite guitars are well made, have a good sound, easy to play and hold tune very well and meant for beginners
We provide private lessons for various instruments including violin. Instructors are still working remotely at this time but you can view their bios and contact information on our website. https://www.klinemusic.com/s-3-music-lessons.aspx
The price veires depend on quality.
If you bring your gurtire and u can measure it so u can
I don't know. Call and ask them.
Yes, we have 2 different styles! One with just the letter names and another with both the letter and the notes on ledger lines.
We have private lessons for guitar and ukulele, unfortunately we do not have group lessons.
They absolutely can help with your problem!
Not too sure about that.

Its a good one. They allow you to pick a newer instrument from the one your previously renting if your not to fond of purchasing it and will do all repairs without cost while your in the rent to own process as well. Depending on the instrument you should check out amazon before making a decision. I found my sons instrument almost 200.00 cheaper then there pricing. But all in all i think there rent to own plan is a fair deal.
this is a place mostly for individualized music learning.
All questions for the retailer should be addressed to them if you want them to be the ones to actually answer your questions.
Yes. But if out of stock, they can order.. Iplay too!
