We don't buy textbooks, per se, for the store. That said, we work with a textbook wholesaler and act a conduit between you and them. If they want your books, we'll buy them from you to sell to them, but we need to scan them to find that out, and they tend to only use the more recent editions. Many books that are used in the classroom are also suitable for general audiences, and we do buy those if we have sufficient demand (like Pedagogy of the Oppressed or such). Yes you can sell your book to and book store. If not you could go to half price books and sell them
