Yes, I just went this past week and one needs a pass to get in. Not to mention they have people working inside the office, so "if" for some reason or another you were to feel unsafe then all you'd need to do is make them aware of.the situation. :)
It is safe but very dusty and trains run thru about 3 times a night and on and off during the day
