Are there drivable/walkable trails to take past sunset? I know some parks close their trails after dark but if you're camping overnight do you have access?

There are no drivable trails.

Most trails are rather steep at least in spots. Winter rains have washed out several steps and mud was quite deep in the hallows . Highly recommend hiking poles.

Trails open all the time,, part of Pacific Crest trail. Can only drive in park.

Trails are not drivable. I would not recommend hiking after dark due to safety.

I believe we had access to the trails after dark. Maybe there was a sign posted saying you weren't supposed to go out on them, but we certainly didn't notice them nor was that enforced. You can always call the ranger station and ask them directly.
