We had a great time, it was fun. The cabins are small but excellent for resting. Clean and spacious. We went in summer and it can be somewhat hot inside the cabin. I recommend bring your own fan, the one that is there is small and is not enough to ventilate the cabin. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again

Absolutely great country park, just an hour away from San Diego but once there it gives you a feeling like being Germany or something. Took my boys there for camping and we all had a great time, Julian is only about 10 mins drive where some great restaurants located

For a 25-30 footers, no problems. A few will accommodate larger rigs. E&W, with dump station- use of which will block restroom/shower parking lot exit. Nearby Julian. Avoid RV spaces 1-20 unless you want side by side parking lot loop camping.

Site #26. Nice campsite with water and electricity. Good shade. Short walk to clean restrooms. Only hiked a couple of trails, but good views. Will be back to explore the rest of the trails. Wild Turkeys running through campsites. Short drive to the town of Julian for delicious pie at Mom’s Pie House.

Yes you can. Unless the weather makes it a bad idea. But the rangers will let you know. They sell fire wood there at the gate so it is super easy.
Generally speaking the grounds are open 24/7, and day-use passes start at 9:30am. Best to call ahead to see if there are any unforeseen circumstances that have caused a closure just to be sure.
I've always reserved and paid in advance. The place has become quite popular, so in order to ensure yourself a campsite, I would strongly recommend making a reservation.
Very! We went up with 2 dogs and had no problems. You do have to pay a little bit extra. But so worth it.
No it's just indoor sleeping, one level above a Yort.
Ramon, there plenty of tent sights. The sights are well maintained, water is close to all. You will enjoy the air and seeing thousands of stars at night. Go into Julian for some apple pie and and icecream. Have fun
You will want to check out their reservations page for exact details. It's easy to use. From my experience their tent spots are around 30, partial hookup spots are around 35, and cabins are around $70 a night. Dogs are each extra per night at the tent and partial hook up spots. Dogs aren't allowed in the cabins.
65 miles Basically in julian
Go on the website San Diego county click on the campground you want and it will tell you the price ..
Call the park anytime they will answer all question for you.
There are no drivable trails.
They aren't super close but you can see each other. For complete darkness you will need to drive outside of the camp due to the light pollution from the outside lights.
About $65/night, they book in advance online and you can also check availability. http://reservations.sdparks.org
They sell bundles at the front gate
Pets are not allowed in the cabins, only in some of the tent/trailer areas and only on leash.
I do not know, might say on the website. It is only 3 dollars to park though
The process takes no time doing it online.
You can make your reservations on the County Park website.
No public place can refuse you with a service animal. It is per the law written within the ADA.
It's a SDCounty park. Go to their park system website
