I have an Nook Samsung Galaxy tab E. I had it for 2 1/2 yrs. It is not fully charging within 10 hours and it says device is slowly charging, need the original charger to charge. Do I need to buy another tablet or a charger?

New charger. Thr one you're using might not be the right wattage.

The battery may be the issue as well. The typical life for a battery for any electronic device is 2 years. It won't charge faster or stay charged for as long as it used to no matter what at this point in it's life.
