My ragdoll had some matts that were not bad, but her bum was very messy. She suggested a full shave and I felt that doing that was not necessary. I think she could have just cleaned up the bad matts and left what was not matted long.

I had my senior Persian groomed by Grooms by Kat, which is within Spotted Dog. He came out looking five years younger! She cleaned his ears, trimmed and cleaned his claws, and gave him a haircut to fit his needs. My boy is pretty feisty about being groomed when it's not on his terms, so I was pleasantly surprised when Kat told me how well- behaved he was. I could tell he liked his new look because he was running around the house all spicy when we got home. Total was $75, but I gave her $100 for making my fuzzer look like a toasted marshmallow.
