I think he will love it. Very interactive for kids. They get to spray water at the bad pirates and the staff was very friendly. Other boats may blow their horns to say hello. The boat moves at a slow pace.

The Bluefoot Pirate crew has a lot of experience with special needs groups and autism. Just bring noise canceling headphones or earbuds as some parts of the show may be too loud for pirates with auditory /sensory issues.
