This is our 3rd time visiting the resort and each time it gets better. Jennifer at the front desk started our trip off amazing with great service and a pool view upgrade. The rooms are nice, beds very comfortable. The big winner for this resort is that it is one of the only resorts on the water and has a amazing pool. This is an excellent Marriott property and I would highly recommend to couples or families.

The worst hotel I’ve stayed at in my life. I’ve never complained at a hotel before but we’ve been here for half a day and we are beyond disappointed in this experience. This is supposed to be a family friendly NICE hotel. The amenities and location are great but that’s it. Our room is almost 700$ a night. Was supposed to have a balcony with a pool view and we get a room that looks straight at the roof. Stains on the towels. Toilet that was dirty when we got here. And to top it off we can hear the very loud music from downstairs in our room. We are on a trip with 2 small kids. I get we’re not the only people here but when I ask to switch to a quieter room it’s either 1) the same price with no balcony or 2) another one on the same loud floor. Asked why it’s the same price with no balcony and the manager was absolutely useless. We said we booked this months ago and just giving the same useless answer of “we’ll rectify it”. How? “We’ll rectify it”. Basically they won’t. Don’t stay here *thank you Michael for talking in circles. The fact that you can even defend your false advertising is disgusting. We booked this trip MONTHS AGO in the winter and the room rates all varied from 500-700$. Because every room was supposed to be progressively nicer hence the price difference. That’s usually how hotel rooms work. But now that we’re here there’s suddenly no room available that shows what you advertised. Then you need to change your photos online to accurately depict the 2* rooms you provide, or actually honor what your guests are paying for. We wanted to switch last night due to the noise and I still cannot believe you will charge your guests the same price for rooms that don’t have the same amenities, especially when we are already paying for something that was not promised. The first photo is what was advertised and the second photo is what we got. It’s not even a balcony it’s a tiny patio with concrete walls. We cannot wait to leave*

The staff were amazing. So helpful and kind the entire trip. This was our first trip as a family of 4, and we were there to elope! Exciting, right? Mostly! There was a huge damper on our trip. They have a rule you can’t save your seats at the pool for over an hour if you aren’t down there. They put a sticker on the chair and write a time and if you aren’t back in that hour, they move your towels and open the chairs. Well TWICE on this trip, someone came to confront us for “stealing” their chairs when they were empty when we showed up. Obviously, we did not know staff had moved stuff ahead of time. Just saw open chairs! First time, the lady kicked us out of “her” spot, this included our 4 month old. Second time, I said heck no. The chairs were OPEN when we got there. The lady proceeded to yell at me, and I told her to go away. She went and got her daughter and her husband to come yell at me. Did I mention I have my 4 month old and 8 year old with me? They come over yelling profanities and the daughter DUMPS SODA ON MY 4 MONTHS OLD STROLLER!! With the baby in it! I saw red. The husband is 6 foot 5 and he’s in my face screaming at me to shut up and sit down. They told staff we “moved their stuff” even though the pool staff told them we didn’t. Elias (an absolute security angel) gave us a cabana as a sorry, but when we checked into it, we were told to be careful because the other family was back there!! Why on earth is this hotel rewarding trashy and gross behavior? I can’t imagine pouring a soda on a BABY STROLLER over a chair and then getting a cabana as a punishment. We loved staff and the hotel, but that situation put such a sour mood on what should have been an amazing and memorable weekend.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Well laid out. All staff was very friendly. Items at the hotel - drinks, food etc., were very, very pricey. Day 2 we went to a local supermarket for some staple items to keep in our room fridge (yogurt, fruit, drinks, chips) to lessen the sting of our stay. Bathroom shower could use a shelf of some sort for products as there was only a soap dish in there. Would have been nice to have complimentary coffee in lobby in the morning for guests. They had a popcorn giveaway staffed table in the lobby in the afternoon which was nice. We reserved a room with a pool/ocean view and realized after we checked into our room that the balcony was solid material that made the view available only if you were standing & looking over. We asked for a different room and the front desk was very accommodating as some balconies were half solid/half open iron rail - so much better! I would stay there again.

Great advice, Ray. It would be a perfect location, Lou. Congrats on the occasion!
No, there isn't a shuttle service, I usually take an Uber. Cost is usually around$15-16 dollars.
No it does not have a shuttle but it is a 5 minutes Uber ride to the port. Lots of folks on cruises stay here
We stayed in an ocean view room and I think it was 45000 per night
Apply at marriot, I'm just a patron/guest. Good luck
This one isn't all inclusive but a very nice hotel.
Water taxi docks by intercoastal marina across hotel..
Yes
I didn't use pool.
If you are looking for a fishing excursion, there are multiple places around that will take you out
They can arrange transportation for you if given advance notice. Uber or similar service is also an option being a short distance from the airport.
Hi Robson, I dont used this services, But you can check with the helpdesk o maybe call. They are so friendly, They took care my bags without problems. Regards, Laura
The have a mini fridge but not microwave, unless it's an upperscale room I think they do have
Outdoor by the pool
I think that there maybe a shuttle from Fort Lauderdale airport but not from MIA.
Not sure either, however I was there for a conference last week and there was no gates or keycards necessary to access the pool. Parking is 15$ for 6 hours or so.
