Same address, just the smaller building in the parking lot.
Criterion expansion shows older stuff as special events I believe
The Criterion Cinema, the smaller building located adjacent to the main theater, sometimes shows older movies. If you were looking for second-runnings, films that just left most theaters, you might be thinking of the Byrd Theater. It's just down Boulevard, in Cary Town.
At times, depends on when you go.
They sometimes at the smaller theatre in the back lot
There are two theaters at this location, both owned by Bow Tie Cinemas. Movieland at Boulevard Square is the main cinema, showing new releases, Criterion Cinema st Movieland is the smaller theater in a separate building that shows a variety of older/indie/cult movies. I believe it can also be rented out for private events.
They do but not all the time.
