I rarely go there anymore unless it's for a movie that Short Pump doesn't carry. I used to go to Movieland quite often a couple years ago, but the crowds became obnoxious. Always rude people talking and using their phones during the movie. I have no problem paying the extra money for Imax in Short Pump so I can reserve my own seat. Yes, reserved seating! Do it online and don't have to worry about ticket lines or crowds because you've got your seat. Reserved seating is the way to go and I wish all theaters and showtimes would do it. For some reason we seem to be behind the trend. Almost everyone I talk to in other states says their local multiplexes have reserved seating.

Matinee (before 3) is $9 for adults compared to $11.25 for non-matinee. I don't believe there is a matinee discount for kids and seniors which is $8.25 for movies at any time. Those are all non-3D pricing. If 3D, add another $3 bucks. All in all, about the same prices you would have found in other theaters though I've seen better matinee discounts elsewhere. But it's a very nice theater, and not run down, and I like how they merged the old railway station into the building and used it as theming, so for me it's worth it.

Hi, Colette's release date is October 12th. There is not currently any times as of my post for Movieland but that might change. Sometimes they post movietimes later in the week like Tuesday or Wednesday. It is playing at Westchester Commons in Midlothian VA as an early showing on Oct. 11th. I am sure Movieland will have it though. I would call if you want to see it at Movieland just to make sure.
