The Contra Costa County Veterans Service Office is the BEST place for EVERY Veteran to visit after leaving the service... if they just got out last week or if they got out 40 or 50 years ago after Vietnam and never saw a service officer or the VA. It is never too late... and you do not need an appointment... just walk-in. They are very helpful and I would not be here to share this with you if it was not for their help!
