Women Helping Battered Women will be especially useful if you're too scared to tell your landlord because of what the neighbor might do. Their # is: 802-658-1996. Other organizations that might be able to help are, VT Legal Aid 1-800-889-2047, Disability Rights (if that qualifies for your situation) 1-800-834-7890 and yes, CVOEO also offers lots of housing help from utilities to security deposits and they have an ongoing project called The Fair Housing Project and you can reach them at 802-660-3456 x106 or x110 and the main CVOEO # is 802-862-2771. Good luck!! You dont deserve to be scared in your own home!
I would suggest calling Women helping batteries woman/ STEPS. They can definitely help you and they have Advocates that can walk you through this whole process
