Are the trains running from Winchester Center on the weekends, or do I still have to get a bus?

It is complicated. Yes they do, but it is very restricted. If you would like to take the bus, take the orange line to Wellington, get on the 134. Things to keep in mind are that after 8 p.m., the 134 does not go past Medford Square. Also, one of the most frequent portions is the ones going to West Medford, which does not service Winchester Center. Which means it is very limited to Winchester on weekends. On Sundays, the 134 only goes to Woburn square, but it does bypass Winchester Center. But after 8 p.m., there was no service past Medford Square. I highly suggest you take the train because it will be a lot less confusing. FYI the portion that goes to West Medford is called Winthrop Street. That person stops at Playstead Road and Winthrop Street, supposedly West Medford Square, but the real West Medford Square is down by West Medford station. For schedules, please visit MBTA. Com. You can also find schedules for the Lowell commuter rail line at North station

At this time, there are no shuttle advisories for the Lowell line that involve North Station and Winchester Center. 10/5/2017
