Is it considered normal, or reasonable to drop off your bike for diagnostics, and a resulting top end rebuild, and then seven weeks later still be riding your wife's bike. Because they still haven't even gotten the parts?

Now that they have had my motorcycle for 8 weeks, does anyone have any suggestions on how I should deal with this? I'm pretty sure it takes less time to build an airplane. And Derek, you never answered my question. Is 8 weeks considered normal, or reasonable? It's ok. You can answer honestly.

I've never dropped of a bike there for repair.Im a certified motorcycle mechanic myself and work on all my own bikes.I just go there when I need parts or accessories for any of my Dirtbikes, quads,& 3 wheeler.Plus I work across the street from Pilgrim so it's also convenient.I actually used to work at Bettencourts but they are worse for wait times and charge way too much.
