Coyote Creek does lead into it, and I do believe most of the other creeks that feed it catch some mercury each year from all the old tailings from Almaden's mining operation. Some Oakland creeks have a similar problems.
You need a license to fish, wouldn't recommend eating anything you catch, most fish in the area have Mercury in them.
