My parents who are in their 70's and on a fixed income and residents of Downey .... I heard they can come and get a free meal to go is this true ?????

The HSA program offers food to seniors 60+. They ask for a donation of $2.25 or $2.75. They are having pick up orders starting at 11am. They do need a 24hr notice. HSA phone number 562-862-8800 Update (3/18/20 @11:55am): The HSA program has ran out of food for today and will resume Friday (3/20/20). We are still unsure about next week. Plz call the community center for more information at (562) 904-7223. However, the Community and Senior Center is closed for the rest of March to the public. So unfortunately I'm not sure if staff is available to answer any phone calls/questions due to hours being reduced during business hours. Not That I Know Of.The Cost Is For Both Is $5.00 It's A Great Atmosphere For Them. You Should Take Them There.
