This place is amazing!! Very clean and with all the new construction on the outside it looks much more beautiful. The nursing staff there are very knowledgeable. Gloria is just amazing and always willing to help and go the extra mile! My family member was there for short time just to get stronger and they did an amazing job and getting my grandma back home quick. I would recommend this to anyone if they want an excellent place for their loved ones, Downey post acute is the place to go!

First of all, the staff are exceptional. They are really attentive and caring to my grandmother. She currently stays there and have been rehabilitating there for some time now. I called there a few times at night and even at dawn and the nurses at dawn have been sweet in answering my question and calls without grumble. Special kudos to the dawn nurses who are taking good care of my grandmother. I have also spoken to the facility's new DON (I think her name is Rhea) and oh my she is just the warmest and she returns my phone calls as she promises and answers my concerns. My family feels comfortable having my grandmother at this facility. Kudos to Downey Post Acute for a job well done !

Since the new management has taken over the building Jason the administrator has brought life back into this place and Joy to the residents. He is always thoughtful and thinking of how we can bring the best care to the residents. April and Rhea have become a great addition to the team and there nurses always give excellent patient care! I would definitely recommend this place for your loved ones!

09-05-2019⭐ 09-12-2019 ⭐⭐ 09-25-2019 ⭐⭐⭐ This facility didn't satisfy my expectations!... My mom is still there at Room 31-C but i am thinking of transferring her to another facility she was admitted September 5, 2019. Due to my very busy schedule i decided to put my mom temporarily to a rehabilitation for her to recover from her Left Robotic knee arthroplasty (Total Knee Replacement) and she got a lot of medical issues that is why i want her to be well and well taking care of while I'm away but i was totally disappointed on what is going on right now, because my mom keep on calling me because she badly needed a HELP to get up and do her thing, she's so weak right now but i know she's trying to do her best to be well, she's always telling me that nobody cares for her if she needs something, she's always calling by the light button but still nobody's coming to attend on what she needs, so what is that? "A NURSING HOME NEGLECT?" That is not good even under our LAW here, and one thing they're 3 beds on her room and all the visitors coming to visit the patient on the bed nearby they're all too loud and nobody could bring their tone down eventhough they're aware of there somebody on the other bed that is really sick and needs some peace and quiet place to heal. I will just post some update when I'm back to that place to see what's going on with my mom. The only staff that talked to me nicely is Abby the filipina LVN the one who process my mom's admission, Juvy the filipina PT who assessed my mom, Michelle the RN that fix my mom's medication and tries to calm my mom the first night she was their because she's really not comfortable being their alone and thinking that nobody cares for her at all and John Bailey RN who listens to my mom when he's on duty. I loved my mom, that's why all i wanted is for her to be comfortable enough on where she's right now until she's fully recovered, but if this things won't go through in accordance with what is Post Acute Care/ Nursing/ Rehabilitation/ Home is all about maybe i have to do something, so that everybody must be aware that you have to do your job well most especially if you're working in a Rehabilitation Facility to do CARE for somebody who's in NEED. Written: September 8, 2019 1425H Update: 09-12-2019 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is for Ms. Catherine, RN the DON; Ms. Jocelyn, Case Worker ; Mr. Mark, PTA; Ms. Juvy, PT Director Ms. Tracy, CNA and Her Daughter Ms. Brianne, CNA They are all very nice to mom and very attentive... Really appreciate them on how they treated my mom. Written : September 26, 2018 1045H Update: 09-25-2019 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is for Ms. Rhea Reyes, RN Supervisor that helps mom for her take home medications and for processing her smooth discharge from facility. and to Mr. Hector the Maintenance guy and a friend that helps mom all the time on cleaning and assisting what mom's wants to be cleaned in her room while she's staying in this facility. THANK YOU everyone for all the memories and all the help that you've given to my mom while I'm away from her. I really do appreciate your effort and patience, i know it's not easy working in a medical field but you guys really did a great job to mom. GOD BLESS YOUR HEART!

My husband stayed here. Keisha, sometimes you have no choice. The Medical Provider makes the decision for you. By the time you find out this place is HELL, your love one is already staying there. My husband had to be submitted to a private hospital after this place due to mal care and negligence. DO NOT LET THE PROVIDER OBLIGATE YOU TO SEND THEM HERE>>> YOU ARE THE BOSS YOU DECIDE WHERE YOUR LOVE ONE STAYS AT. Seek a list that accept you and that works with your insurance co. visit each location and decide then.
