Absolute worst banking institution on the face of the earth. Transactions are constantly declined due to server errors. And being that after hours there is no technical support, we need to wait until God knows when to be able to spend our money. You’d probably have better luck using a Wells Fargo debit card in the 1950s then you will with this bank.

Poor customer service. I’ve never had so many issues with a bank before. There was an issue with my loan that I had called to have it fixed. The clerk assured me it was taken care of but unfortunately it wasn’t. When I noticed it wasn’t fixed I called in a second time figuring it would be a simple process to smooth things out. I called and spoke with marisol who said she needed manager assistance to rectify the problem and I was told I would receive a call from their manager Veronica. I never received a call so I decided to take the initiative to call again. The manager Veronica was very rude and condescending. She never apologized for not calling and had a very unhelpful attitude. I tried explaining to her that I had spoke with a clerk months ago and was told the issue was resolved but it wasn’t. She replied “at the end of the day, it’s your responsibility to make sure the clerk did the correct changes”. In my opinion that is just placing the blame on the client for their employees incompetency. I’ve never been treated so poorly from a bank before and I really had the sense that they do not value their customers. I’m very disappointed because I was excited to join a credit union (I usually bank with larger banks) but it’s honestly been a bad experience. My fiancé and I were planning on getting a joint savings account and I was considering this credit union. However after this experience we decided we’d look into other options. Update: just received a call from Pedro who was very helpful and empathetic to the mistake. He apologized for the clerk not making the necessary changes and fully resolved the issue. I’m adding a star for his helpfulness but unfortunately due to the poor treatment from Veronica I can not recommend this bank.

Been a member for 11 years or so. Through financial good times and bad. I have always been treated with respect and great customer service. The staff is friendly and professional. I will recommend my Dfcu to anyone who is seeking a credit union to join.

No they don't, you have to go though the zelle app and only a little bit per week is allowed
Your ID social 25$ minimum or direct deposit
You'll need to either bring that in or send a picture through the "contact us" section of the website. Counterfeit checks have been going around recently.
The credit union closes at 2 pm on Saturdays
