Part of the appeal is that there is only one way in or out, and the park stays clean and avoids vandalism bring gated. The playground is the spongy soft surface so occasionally the park will close because the ground is too saturated in the winter, and in the summer closes when it'll be over 90 as it has no shade, so I'd recommend following the FB page to stay current.
Its closed for safety and thats a good thing. The park is free but you can donate at the entrance.
It's free but gated and there's an attendant keeping an eye on the entrance. No one is there to open the park until ten.
