An employee of Amazon Logistics, W. Thomas, came by my house today and took a picture of my front porch. He said drivers had reported delivery problems, 3 times, that the business closed and couldn"t leave package. This is a house, is this normal?

Yes,it's to secure packages and make sure you know they are safe.

Yes they take a picture to verify where they drop the package. Business Closed usually is just a designation they put on packages for actual businesses. They should have said nsl which means so safe location.

Did he did the driver leave a package on your front door because if he did he is supposed to verify by taking picture of the package at the door

I'm not sure. I no longer work for Amazon. Sorry. I would contact Amazon customer service about this. If it happens again, get the driver's name and license plate. The van is assigned to a specific driver and the license number is an identifier.
