I have a 1 year old pit/lab mix hes a total sweetheart an i cant take care of him the way he deserves. I want to surrender him to let him go to a good home. Will they put him down? Do you do any kind of checks on future homes.

I know that the front Street animal shelter is a no kill shelter and i believe that this SPCA is also. They do have a surrender charge and if i remember right they will give you the animals reference number and you can go on there website and look to see if the dog is still there or if its been adopted. They have a very extensive process when they adopt the animals out.

That would be great. Thank you so much.
