I know a place in Ventura at an hour and 20 minutes from Los Angeles, it's called Foster Park. There you can make your roasted cards and bathe in the river. Admission is $ 5. It is a small but nice place to spend as a family. Whenever I've been on Saturdays there are not many people and the water is not cold. If you do not mind driving 1:20 I recommend it you'll love it.
Grasias for the grip ... and for the information
Hi Pedro ... Roast meat I do not believe because it's forest and it's not allowed. Fish if possible and the parking permit is paid at the entrance .... I would rather recommend if you still have the roast meat plan and fish what you were to the Santa Fe dam ... There is a park there, swimming area, you can fish and also ride a boat ... Only about three miles below!
It is a Federal National Park so there is an entrance fee you pay to the Park Ranger as you go in. There are no fires allowed for cooking or otherwise. Remember the out of control fires from last year caused by illegal fires. Homes, forest and wildlife burnt to the ground.
