Yes children can be there. The shelter is for women and families. They'll provide resources but you have to go out and take care of business. If there is room and you have never been there before, you'll get to stay there for a month. They have a couple of long term programs but you have to meet the criteria.

The shelter keeps u off the streets and out of the weather plus they can help u find a place to live and also help with jobs but u would be in a program to do that and everything
