Who do you report to when you have an issue? I am a small business owner in Oneida County and if any of my employees were behaving the way I witnessed Tuesday I would want to know.

I ran in for a quick McFlurry & medium fry. I ordered on the Kiosk (order#681) and paid for my order. Then proceeded to wait. The screen showed two orders ahead of mine, which I watched be filled and served. Then I continued waiting while the girl who appeared to be filling the orders started filling drive-thru orders. After about 10 minutes, I couldn't wait any longer as my daughter had a soccer game at Proctor. The manager had come up front and began taking orders at the register. I said "#681 has to leave so I guess there's no point filling that order". He never even looked up or addressed me. So I walked out. My husband (who was waiting in the car) told me to go back in and get the food because we paid for it. I walked back in to see my order # showing up on the served side of the screen, but no food sitting waiting to be picked up. So I asked the manager if that's how they do things? Just move the order over to completed even if the food wasn't delivered.

There was a phone number on the door, stating to call it if there were any issues. My sister & I were on our way to a funeral and needed some coffee & maybe a breakfast sandwich. We stood there (first in line) almost 10 minutes. It was apparent that they were short-staffed and were scrambling to get drive-thru orders ready, but no one even looked at us, even once!! The line was growing and we were talking amongst ourselves, so I know they knew we were there. It even looked like they tried to AVOID eye contact when turning to get something for the order they were preparing! A smile and a comment such as “I’m so sorry, I’ll be with you as soon as I can” would’ve made all the difference!!! We left and went down the street to Dunkin’ Donuts instead and were waited on in a prompt and friendly manner! I did take down the phone number on the McDonald’s door and later tried to call it. All I got was a menu telling me to choose an extension. It kept repeating that, with no other choices!
