Per website: Food and picnicking is not permitted on the grounds, however there is a small area adjacent to the parking lot where you may eat food you have brought before you enter. Dining is available in our café or tea room.
Yes. You can bring whatever you would like for a picnic and there are several great places to do that. If you follow along the cactus garden on the trail you'll come to a huge grass clearing with giant trees my favorite spot this time of year
