How do you protect your persimmon not being eaten by bugs or animals while growing in the tree? I already put a big net over the tree. Thanks!

A net is helpful for birds. When I had fruit trees, I bought bags, 100s of paper bags a put them around the fruit, I never had Pests eating them. Another thing to protect your trees is to have an insect border area, it is an area that is friendly to predator insects. Plant plants from the families of Aster, Coriander, Mint, Verbena... Get the book by Jessica Wallis Eric, How to Attract Beneficial Insects or something like that, i use insect borders and I have not sprayed for Pests in 22 years.
