Excellent beautiful clean park. Pool, volleyball, tennis, soccer and baseball field amenities just to name A few. They also hold concert during the summer. Highly recommend 👌

I don’t feel safe there without my husband! I had my children participate in the swimming lessons and my family has visited the park to use the playground and tennis courts, but the amount of homeless men roaming around leaves me feeling uncomfortable. There is a group of 7-12 men who camp out about 10 feet from the small children’s playground. There is a homeless man or woman resting within 2-10 feet of nearly every staircase. Some of these homeless people (on bikes or in cars) openly light up & smoke pot in front of families with children. There is no way of knowing if any of these people are predators. The worst part is that I have never seen a security guard or police officer walk around this park. I don’t recommend visiting this park alone—always have 2 adults.

Popular for parties, sand volleyball, and baseball. They also have a horseshoe setup, community pool, and tennis courts. The recreational areas are well lit, the playground is in good condition, the bathrooms are usable and have one drinking fountain. There are quite a few tables in the main seating area, also barbeques and some sinks, though the covered area is small. A few tables are also further down the path for small groups. This is definitely a community park, always in use with its own peak times. Community music events are held in the summer and the park connects with the Santiago Creek Reserve.

The park used to be nicer.. since they removed and cut a lot of trees it doesn't look the same.. there are a lot of homeless and gays looking around for dating other guys.. the park also is under construction and is taking longer than spected

Aug and Sept only
I don't know but if you call the city of Orange, they should be able to direct you to the right person to reserve the Baseball Field.

(714) 744-7274 You have to set aside a minimum of one week before the day it takes.
Just do it no one will say anything!
I've seen people there set up for bridal showers and birthdays. I've never had to ask anyone for an event and would say it's on a first come basis. If you need to access the baseball court I bieve you do need to get keys
I've never had a problem with the authorities about it so I'm assuming yeah but im not sure other police officers would feel the same way. At the most though you wouldn't catch any sort of legal trouble if you get messed with they'd just tell you to put it out cops there are pretty cool
All the party tables and BBQs are off limits but you can setup your own canopy with tables etc as you wish anywhere else in the park.
I'm not sure, but park closes at 10, so I wouldn't risk it. Sorry couldn't be of more help.
They r starting to clean & detail the pool house...sooo it has to be very soon. Tree removal by pool delayed the opening. Ride my bike every AM @ Hart Park so I will post a pic & report when it opens for you:)) BWELL & Happy Summer🤙😊
Yes, you need too
Close it only open during the hot days
I don't have the exact answer but,if you go to the park you'll find a number on the sign regarding park rules. I'm sure they can help
In front of the band shell there is a large concrete pad people us to dance on. Use Google maps Arial view to get a goo look at the are and see many picture s of Hart Park.
If there's any basketball court I have no idea where it is. I'm pretty sure there are none
I live near this park and I've never seen anyone flying and drones here. As a rule, Orange is a very orderly community, and I'm sure that anyone flying drones in this park will be grounded in a very short time period.
YES. Permits can be acquired at civic center on Chapman ave across from Orange Public Library.
Pool is CLOSED. Road by on my morning bike ride. Pool has been closed for atleast a week. Hope this helps:))
First come first serve. I would just get there in the morning to save a good spot.
Yes
