Very limited shelters .. HOWEVER the shelters they do provide have WATER MISTERS to try and cool you down.. These shelters are usually FULL - MEANING crowded!
If you're talking about the actual park with the lakes there is plenty of shaded areas.
Zero shade screw the heat and this place. Only fun at night. I mean zero shade ZERO
The Amphitheatre area provides some shelter in the seating section. Otherwise there is practically no natural shaded areas . There are several entrances to the parking areas. If you enter through the first set of gates, there are some covered picnic areas and bbq pits available for tailgating before an event. All other parking areas have no shaded areas either.
