Unfortunately no.
There are plenty of parking lots in the area, I parked right next to one behind the museum and it's was 10 bucks for 4 hours
No
You can find other parking spots and walk to the museum. Just make sure you pay attention to all of the rules and regulations with the parking lot you get.
Well if your handicapped you park anywhere for free 😉
No. Meter or garage parking only. Garage rate varies. I believe meter is always same price.
It is cheaper to park in the parking garage
Hi Jason, thank you for contacting us! Parking is available at several locations surrounding the Museum of Discovery & Science. Lots operated by the City of Fort Lauderdale include the Arts & Entertainment Garage and street parking along SW 2nd Street. Parking in these areas is recommended. Rates vary from $1.50-$3.00 per hour. Special event rates may apply. Additional parking can be found on the east and west sides of the Museum. These lots are operated by private companies. Rates may vary. IMPORTANT: DO NOT PARK WITHOUT PAYING. The lot operators will tow your car if you do not pay or stay longer than your time on the meter.
I came by the bus and I walked to the museum from the bus stop. So the metered parking in front of the building was the only section I saw, but according to others, paid parking is what to expect unfortunately! @Jason
