My 7 yr old bunny needs to be put down...how do I prove ownership? He's never had to go to a vet for anything

Their website wasn't informative about euthanasia, but the Broward County HS said the following: "Proof of ownership for your pet is required in order to provide euthanasia services. Acceptable forms of ownership are veterinarian/medical or vaccine records, proof of purchase or adoption records in the name of the legal owner. The legal owner of the pet must also be present."
