Trona and Terry are correct. I have had to put many animals to sleep and this is where I take them. I always leave a donation of at least $20. It's so hard to do each and every time I have to put an animal to sleep. The staff is very compassionate and they put you in a room with your animal prior to putting them to sleep. They will even let you leave out the back door for privacy if you need to.
I had to put my 5 week old dog down it was free of charge I just gave a small donation.
They even allow you to bring in companion pets to say "Goodbye" They are very adamant regarding proof of ownership of the animal. Occasionally they will accept pictures as proof.
You will need proof of ownership and a valid reason. IE your pet is sick etc. Euthanasia is free. They also have a great partnership with a pet crematorium service. They charge $80 or so if you would like to keep your beloved's remains. IMO this is the best and most economical place for this type of service. The staff is always compassionate and caring.
