There are shelters in Redlands and in Devore. I adopted my dog over 10 years ago at the San Bernardino shelter and she is just the best. Hope you find that special friend!
The Humane society of San Bernardino does not have pets for adoption. They may have sponsored events, but not walk in pet adoption.
If I'm not mistaken the San bernadino shelter was closed a few month back might wanna try Jurupa or ranchos
