Yes. There are plenty. I use them myself for running quite a bit. Very nice area for outdoor cardio.

Yes. So the name "mile square" comes from the park being a 1 mile by 1 mile square. So the main trial on rhe perimeter is about a 4 mile loop. There are other paths that go into the park as well.
