I have never ran into any deadly animal there. There is poison oak but there's only a few plants and it will only give you a rash. You wont run into a rattlesnake unless you go off trail.
Be carefull... the rocks are deadly if you fall.
It's really rare to run into any animals since it's a busy trail but if you are lucky like me you can possibly run into a black bear. We spotted it about 15 feet off the trail. That was the closest I have ever been to a wild bear. Always be aware of your surroundings people!
Well, you have to spect all kind of insects, I never saw a rattlesnake but they are warning signs at the beginning of the trail at the Nature center, also there is three entrances. 1st one is the one at the Nature center and it has parking lot also from that point is 1.5 to 2 miles longer, the other two you have to park in the street, personally I like the entrance mt. Wilson/ pincrest, about other animals, the most I saw it was family dogs..
Heavy populated trail keeps most of the wild life away...
I have never seen a deadly animal, just stay on the trail and don't touch any three and plant, so you will be safe.
There's possibility you could see a rattlesnake. Poison oak is all over the sides of the trail.
So looks like I must stay on the trail at all times so that I won't enter a rattlesnake's territory correct? Also where can the poison oak be? And what other symptoms can you experience from the plant besides rash?
There's never any animals I saw.
