I believe they will do their best and will be very good about communicating your options with you. I suggest calling first and describing your pet's situation. While in the waiting room once we saw people come in with a dog in pretty bad condition and they asked us if it would be okay for our yearly check-up appointment to be pushed back so they could attend to this dog ASAP. They do seem to triage by need.
They are extremely helpful and if they are completely booked they will refer you to someone else who can take care of your needs I recommend them highly
