GREAT VET!! DOCTORS TRULY CARE ABOUT ANIMALS AND ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY WILL GIVE YOUR PET THE BEST CARE POSSIBLE!!GREAT PRICES!! I've been going to them with my various pets for almost 20 years now. They get VERY busy and it is common to run into people there that have traveled hours, sometimes several hours, to go to them. Cons...get there early and expect to spend the day there. Wait times are horrible. (Hours) They don't take appointments, so it's first come...first serve. They get long lines and l have seen their line extend down the street and around the corner and that's in the mornings before they are even open!! By the time they open, there are easily 30 clients lined up waiting to be seen. Early mornings used to be the best time, but then everyone found that out so not sure about that anymore. Still, they are worth the wait. Their prices alone are worth the wait.

This is a great place to take your dogs or cats. Real straight shooters with good prices which makes this place popular. First come first served policy so it's not unusual to find 15 or 20 people waiting when they open...you may have to wait a bit. Appreciate what they did for us when one of my dogs was in his last days.

Amazing pet care services. Highly professional and efficient facility. They run a tight ship. Thank you for the services you provide to the community! We need more facilities like yours in pet care that don't aim to challenge the customer who loves their pets.

Went to Dr. Butchko for the first time and had my dobbies ears cropped, I gotta say I was totally blown away by the way the staff and Dr. Butchko treated us. He listened and understood what I wanted for my pup gave some pointers and examples and I ended up changing my decision based on his experience but the way this man explained everything to me was awesome... I left my pup there with the confidence that he was going to be well taken care of and in Excellent hands... When I picked up my pup absolutely nothing had changed staff was still awesome and courteous meds were handed to me and instructions were well explained that I had to recommend my friends to him even if we have to drive from Lancaster Ca.. Dr. Butchko is very affordable and my pup looks great with his perfectly cropped ears.. please be aware that this practice is super busy so wait times do vary but please keep that in mind.. I arrived about an hour early for my pups surgery and there was already about 10 people waiting in line before they even opened.. so bring a chair and hang out people waiting we're friendly and conversations were easy to start so please be patient!! P.s we scheduled 3 more surgeries already place is awesome! 4/19/2022 this place rocks Dr is awesome I will continue to bring my dogs here and also I highly recommend him for the ear cropping very nice ear cropping

Dr Butchko is an allergy specialist. Bullies ,dobies. Especially
Not that I know of but they are open 800am first come first serve so get your fold chair ready I got there 715 am and was 10 th in line good luck they are the Best and Great Prices!!
@wayne waters it’s actually bad to not crop the eats can give the Doberman a ear infection fast and helps them hear if they are cropped
Not too sure. I went for over a month for doberman ear cropping. It was $450 cash only.
You would have to go in for a check up and then they would share the price with you. You can't call and ask because they will tell you the same I just mentioned.
Where is that place so I can take my doby
Yes
The very best veterinarian in the whole county; he and his son are just amazing Doctors; they are true professionals; we live them !!!!!!
Not sure. I only have dogs. Call for best results. I hope you call, they are great.
This Saturday the 29th they're closed they reopen on the 3rd
Call and ask to make sure you get the correct price, they very competitive with pricing.
Take pickles to Dr Butchko
Yes take her back. They shouldnt charge you.
But anything good is worth waiting for when you have to go fast you don't get what you need but I've waited weighted more at the doctor's office for myself then going to dr. Butchko I spent 4 hours at my own doctors
Rough estimate... Cats are about a $100 now. Your dog would still be considered a small pet. So MY guess would be maybe around $125...(ish)
Yes
They don't take appointments. First come. First served.
Yes they do, I've seen many different breeds get they're pets ears done.
I've never seen a bird there. This vet specializes in AI bully dogs and reproduction. I'd find a bird specialist or your bird breeder.
Only 2 vets there. Always busy. No appointments taken. Everyone knows that it's first come first served. Best place for surgery. If you can't wait then go to another vet. It's been this way for 50 years. Us old school patients get it and totally appreciate Butchko and his crew. Best vet in S.California! .
Yes you can but i suggest you go super early before they open because they dont make appointments. We drove all the way from Bakersfield. Left at 3 am for there at 7ish. We were 7th in line. During Covid it got real busy, but he is definately worth the drive and wait. Money wise, best prices. Care, super good
For ear crop yes anything else no
They open at 8, there is no appointments. I recommend arriving at 7 am. There will be a line. They will check you in when it's your turn. You will be able to wait in your car, and then you will get called in. I would take a day off work.
My dog had a bladder infection and The total cost for fees and three types of antibiotics was about $260. The initial visit was about $220 and then I came back the next day to pick up more medication and it was an additional $40. He is extremely extremely fair with his pricing just know that you're going to be waiting for at least 3 hours but it is worth it for the prices! Sorry to hear about your kitty!
Butchko is the cheapest. If you know the antibiotic u want to use. U can buy them over the counter at vet suoply stores
I just got my Dobie's ears done, he charged $425 cash only
They have reasonable prices. I would go in cause I believe they go by weight. Go early since there's no appointments only first come first serve
That is right number they just don't answer. You have to be diligent and let to ring until they pick up. They really need an office manager to direct the chaos of the front desk.
Why can’t someone that’s had there pet get a c- section give a general price? You would think someone would comment to give people a general idea
To check in is about an hour and then I normally wait 2 hours after that so I would easily say 3 hours.
Just got my boys ears done it was 425
I'm sorry I do not know what the charge would be, but I can say they are very affordable. As far as I know you just have to bring your dog in the morning , no food or water after 8pm the day before, and they can do it. They do not take appointments, first come first serve. It is a very busy place I recommend getting there before they open. There is always a line, it is a very popular place, good luck I hope my answers helped
They do many surgeries. The best thing to do is go in because they will not answer or give quotes over the phone until they see the animal. It is best practice. They actually SEE your pet and give the best recommendations based off their exam.Your animal will be in good hands! Good luck.
I have no idea how much they charge for that, I can tell you this, while waiting in line I saw a huge amount of doberman pumps getting them cropped from Dr Butchko, I have seen more pure breeds in line than I have ever seen anywhere else. You can go talk to anyone in line and they will tell you this is the place to go. Hope this helped answer your questions
No appointments needed. Best price though, safest practice for your pup.
Yes
They don't do it past 14 weeks I think. And it cost 425, that includes the overnight stay, i.v., and 3 bottles of medicine. The doctor is a boss and it is totally worth it. Good luck.
Its working, they're just short staffed and/or not their priority. I called to check on my pup's surgery for a broken leg, two days later, I'm standing in line to find out how it went and when I can take her home.
They never call you. And they never answer the phone. You just go to clinic the next day and ask them for your dog.
They are very good with all dogs
Like a Costco on 1/2 price TP-day, Get there early. Worth it.
This place is great. They see so very many dogs, I believe you get a better price based upon their volume. How much can you trust an outfit that phone-quotes prices for a medical procedure without a prior exam? I doubt you will find a better value in veterinary care than these folks.
Try his son's office. He's a few miles away. Maybe he is open. Derek Butcho.
Knowing how extremely knowledgeable the Butchkos are, I would think they would know how to do that. I see dogs that had undergone a variety of ear procedures, all the time. Butchko is amazing across the board. Miichael Butchko, Senior, passed away last Feb., I believe it was. Steven, his son, is just as amazing! If you get lucky, they might answer the phone and your question....
I am not sure but it is pretty cheap. Most vaccines are under $10 if I remember correctly. Call and they can give you prices. Hope this helped you.
I've been going to Dr butchko for 20 years he's very good
From $10 the rabies and parvovirus to $20
Not that I know of. Try vets in Norco, CA
Not personally, but they specialize in bulldogs and I've seen a few in the waiting room at times.
You need to take her to see the vet. Not sure on the price as your situation differs.
Call them and ask.
Yes they do
For a full set first time depending on what you need rabies parvo like 24.00 call and ask they are reasonable
My English bulldog needed TPLO surgery & l was referred to a specialist. This was 3 yrs. ago. They might have someone now.
About $45 per test
I wouldn't kno but I'm sure Dr. Butchko could be a help🤗
You would have to call and ask his office directly.
I found them to be very competitive on all thier pricing. Less overhead and they do have the a strong client following. The best is to call them ans ask for estimation. They can't confirm a cost because of the service might change.
Jonathan ive been taking my frenchie there for 7 yrs and i drive from south orange county...yes its always packed...yes it's ols looking inside but Dr. Steven Butchko is the best! He SAVED my dogs eye last yr by doing a very complicated surgery and then fir 2 minths i had to go bi-weekly for check-ups all for $500! This would have cost me THOUSANDS! And just took that same dog last Thursday ( whose 10 ) to have an external and interal growth removed. I recommend Dr.Means for regular visits. Dr. S butchko does sre some dogs in the mornings but mostly does the surgeries. Hope this helps! Oh and ive got 2 othet Frenchies.
Each animal is different and the costs differ due to size and type. They are cheaper and well worth going to though. Down side is that there is no appointments.
Thank you I will call them
They usually won't give you a price over the phone. It goes by the size of the animal. He's cheaper than other places and does a great job.
Don't do that. These inhumane practices need to stop.
Vet studies have shown that neutering at a young age makes them more susceptible to hip dysplasia. Waiting until they are more mature lessons that risk. Rottweilers have a higher risk for developing hip dysplasia than some other breeds, so waiting until they are older will allow them to develop the broader head and chest more characteristic to the males of that breed, as well as lowering the chance for bad hips. You can Google hip dysplasia and early neutering to bring up research studies to support this.
