Staff is good. The vets are wonderful, that’s why my mother and I keep bringing our animals here. But ever since Covid the customer service is unbelievable. They NEVER pick up their phones. Not everyone can come down to make appointments. When leaving messages they DONT call back. It’s RIDICULOUS!! Get better people at the desk!! Such a shame a wonderful vet is going DOWN HILL!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Our cat Simon passed away while in their care. First, I had been calling from 7am in 5 minute intervals (prepared to call until 9am since their closed message hasn't been updated to reflect the 7am open time) and didn't get a person until 7:45am at which point I talked to a person there and explained the symptoms my cat was having (not eating, extreme fatigue, and lethargy) and I asked if I could please bring him in. They told me I could drop him off at 9:45 am. We were there on time. They checked us in, again, noting all the symptoms our cat was presenting with. I feel like based on these symptoms, they should have known this was an emergency situation. They seemed like they did not think it was too urgent and mentioned they would make a care plan for Simon and call us if they needed to perform any tests or give any medication to Simon. At that point, I thought that maybe I was being overly dramatic and blowing up the situation in my head and I relaxed a bit, because I felt these people know what they're doing. I left my baby cat there trusting they would take care of him. At 6pm they called us and let us know he had passed away. That day they made me feel like this was all my fault, like if I noticed too late. That might be true. It might have already been too late to save Simon, but even if that was the case, we could have been there for him and put him down humanely while he was surrounded by love. Instead, he stayed there in a cage alone and scared and probably suffering until he got so bad that the only things left to do were emergency efforts. When we met with the vet she mentioned following up with her staff and that from this point forward any cat not eating would be seen right away and not dropped off. Later the vet called to follow up because they wanted to see our other two cats and I asked them how long Simon had been there without being seen. The vet herself said it had been 7 hours. I started crying. I can't remember my response, but the vet said she has since spoken to her staff about the situation.... My cat is dead... my cat died so that people could learn how to do the job they should have known how to do all along. Aren't the people in the front trained? They have always acted like everyone there is a veterinary assistant at the very least. Our precious Simon spent 7 hours alone and waiting for help before anyone even noticed him... It's completely unacceptable. Please don't leave your pets in their care and please don't ever accept a drop off. This last Monday should not have been the end of 1 year old Simon's story. Update: make no mistake, I followed up with the request from the business below. This comment was to save face and nothing more. We never received any additional correspondence with them. The business has also been super shady when it comes to just finding out the names and titles of the employees we spoke with the day Simon passed away.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
