Pregnant cats can and often are spayed at shelters. That doesn’t mean Bonner Humane Society does that. Even late term pregnant animals are spayed at shelters all the time.
The shelter does accept abandoned cats for no charge. After the mother has the kittens, they will spay the mother and you can adopt her for a small price, to pay for her shots and fixing her. If she is wild, they will help you with getting a live trap to catch her, and you can release her back to your property for even cheaper.
Pregnant cats cannot be spayed, but they care for the kittens until they find homes. Kittens are usually adopted faster than adults. Usually they spay the mother after her litter is born and then she is eligible for adoption also.
