The store doesn't accept furniture of any kind, including small items such as hall trees, PC stands, etc. You have to schedule a pickup online. I've donated rugs this way. They don't accept furniture that is damaged, scratched, stained (upholstery), etc. If you don't want it, why would anyone else? (Such things should --unfortunately - go to landfill. Recology allows 2 free large item pickups per customer per year.) Items donated to the SA need to be resellable as-is. Also, be prepared to wait outside of your selected pick-up window. They're not set up for up-to-the-minute updates of their ETA. I waited an extra 4 hours.
